Our mountain restaurant Masescha was founded in 1877. In 1929 Guntram and Emma Fehr purchased the tavern and subsequently renovated and expanded it to a restaurant. Today it is run by Fred Fehr in the third generation.
The restaurant is nestled 1,240 meters above sea level and is known to be the “sun terrace” of the region. Masescha is a mere 15 minutes of easy driving above the capital Vaduz.
Our regional cuisine – awarded with 13 Gault-Millau points – combines original and traditional with modern and international elements.
On our menu you will find regularly changing seasonal dishes. The popular “Masescha” classics, such as the Diced Veal in Cream Sauce (“Geschnetzeltes”), the Wiener Schnitzel or the Cordon Bleu are always available.
The restaurant is internationally known for its “Maria’s Apple Cake”, whose recipe has been a closely guarded family secret for many years.
